The BeginningSan Jose Transport was founded by in 1987. It was started with two trucks and a contract to transport agricultural products. It was around this time that the technology boom started in Silicon Valley, which was the catalyst for the accelerated growth in the construction industry throughout the Bay Area. This included construction of homes, retail shopping centers, office parks and sprawling corporate headquarters, and new and improved highways, roads and public transportation.
The construction industry boom, which started in the late 80’s, led to the huge demand of transportation services. San Jose Transport was quick to take advantage of this market shift and is now a leading provider of transportation services to the construction industry.

Today, we boast a fleet of over 40 well-maintained tractors and trailers and maintain strong relationships with independent contractors. We also operate multiple disposal sites throughout Santa Clara Valley.
